2024 Winobranie Wine Festival Tour

Join us on an exciting wine, food, and cultural journey through one of the oldest wine regions of Poland – Lubuskie – on the mid-western border of Poland and the annual, week-long WINOBRANIE – Grape Harvest & Wine Festival in the city of Zielona Gora! (Usually held in the second week of September)

This is the biggest and oldest Wine Festival in Poland. Typically, over 30 vineyards from Lubuskie region and Lubuskie Wine and Honey Trail participate at the Festival and there are more than 130 market stalls scattered throughout the downtown area offering wine, food, handicrafts and live entertainment. Winobusy – Wine Buses will be taking attendees to various vineyards for tours and tastings with local winemakers throughout the week. 

Day 1: Winobranie – Wine Festival
Location:Zielona Gora, Poland

Embark on a journey to the Lubuskie region of Poland, where you’ll be met and greeted at your hotel of choice in Zielona Gora and/or transferred to your accommodation out of town. For the next five days you’ll be spending time at the annual Winobranie Wine Festival in Zielona Gora. Watching the festive opening parade of the wine festival with dressed up characters walking and riding thru the streets of Zielona Gora and ending in the city’s Market Square. Get introduced to and taste delicious Lubuskie region wines and Polish craft beer, arts and crafts and much, much more. Later in the evening, enjoy welcome dinner in Zielona Gora.

Day 2: Winobranie – Wine Festival
Location: Zielona Gora, Poland
Accommodations: Hotel of choice
Today, after breakfast, return to Zielona Gora to attend the second day of activities and wine tastings at the Winobranie - Wine Harvest Festival. In the evening, savor an elegant dinner based on local delicacies, paired with wines from Lubuskie wineries.

Day 3: Winobranie – Wine Festival
Location: Zielona Gora, Poland
Accommodations: Hotel of choice
On day three, after breakfast, spend the day relaxing at your hotel. Experience treatments at the spa or go for a swim at the swimming pool, if your hotel of choice offers those amenities or venture outdoor to enjoy activities such as Nordic walking and/or biking.

Day 4: Winobranie – Wine Festival
Location: Zielona Gora
Accommodations: Hotel of choice
On day four, after breakfast, enjoy Zielona Gora city tour and a visit to Lubuskie Land Museum which also includes Wine Museum - featuring wine making history in the region. In the afternoon, continue Winobusy touring and wine tasting of Lubuskie vineyards. In the evening, enjoy a gourmet dinner in Zielona Gora, paired with excellent Polish wines.

Day 5: Return To Home Country or Extend Your Stay in Poland
Location: Zielona Gora
Accommodations: Hotel of choice
On day five, enjoy your morning and breakfast at your hotel and check out or extend your stay for more relaxation and enjoyment in Zielona Gora or transfer to another location in Poland.
