2024 Spa and Wine Tour in Southern Poland and Krakow

On our 7 Day-6 Nights Spa and Wine Tour in Southern Poland and Krakow, you'll enjoy a journey through the picturesque towns and rolling hills of Southern Poland. Our knowledgeable local guide will show us around Kazimierz district, the former home of the largest Jewish commune in Europe. Tour the Galician Town of Nowy Sacz for a delicious lunch with local wine and a tour of the Galician Town.

We'll then indulge in some of the best spa treatments Southern Poland has to offer. Enjoy Specialty Spa Treatments or make use of the other facilities of the spa or to relax and take in the stunning mountain scenery. From there we will explore Krynica-Zdroj, the largest SPA town in Poland, known as the Pearl of Polish Spas. Take the longest cable-car ski lift in Poland up to Mt. Jaworzyna Krynicka and go hiking in Jaworzyna Krynicka.

Next, we'll explore the Kambornia Manor near Krosno, where we can enjoy the Carpathian Wine Salon and an interactive Polish cooking class before indulging in a lunch made from your own culinary creations. Take a trip to Krosno and Tour the Krosno Glass City and Glass Heritage Center. Visit Jaslo, a peaceful and quaint town that is the capital of Polish wine production and hosts an annual International Wine Days festival. See the 15th century St. Michael Archangel's Church Binarowa village church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the 'Dwie Granice' and 'Jasiel' family-run vineyards near Jaslo.

Finally, we'll explore the incredible city of Krakow. Take a guided tour of the city, taking in the stunning views of the Market Square, Wawel Castle and Cathedral. We'll also make a stop at the local winery 'Srebrna Gora' for a wine tasting, from which we can feast our eyes on the stunning views of the Vistula River. Finally, we'll make a stop at the incredible Wieliczka Salt Mine - an underground city full of galleries, lakes, chapels and murals carved from salt and designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Kazimierz District & Welcome Dinner
Location Krakow to Krynica-Zdroj
Accommodations: Dr. Irena Eris Hotel & SPA
Gather in Krakow at 10:00am for a group pick-up at a designated hotel near the Market Square! Our local guide will show us around Kazimierz district, the former home of the largest Jewish commune in Europe. We will come back on Thursday to explore all that Krakow has to offer, as you could easily spend a week discovering its rich history. Afterwards, we will head out to Krynica-Zdroj to the luxurious 4-star Dr. Irena Eris Hotel and SPA where we will be staying for the next four nights. On the way, we'll make a stop at the Galician Inn in Nowy Sacz for a delicious lunch with local wine and a tour of the Galician Town. After settling into the hotel, we will meet for a festive Welcome Dinner of local cuisine at the hotel's elegant "Szosty Zmysl" restaurant and enjoy chef Janusz Myjak's gourmet culinary specialties.

Day 2: Explore Krynica-Zdroj
Location: Tour Krynica-Zdroj & Cable-car to Mt. Jaworzyna Krynicka

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, those who have signed up in advance for Specialty Spa Treatments can look forward to enjoying their first pampering session. Guests are also free to make use of the other facilities of the spa or to relax and take in the stunning mountain scenery. Once the morning SPA session or outdoor activity is finished, we will enjoy a light lunch at the hotel restaurant. In the afternoon, we will explore Krynica-Zdroj, the largest SPA town in Poland, known as the Pearl of Polish Spas. We will start by visiting the charming downtown area with its pedestrian promenade and pump rooms with water from over twenty local mineral springs, where we can sample some of the mineral waters. We can also take the longest cable-car ski lift in Poland up to Mt. Jaworzyna Krynicka. Before dinner, some of us may like to go hiking in Jaworzyna Krynicka or return to the hotel for some relaxation. We will then meet for dinner with regional fare at the “Karczma Cichy Kacik” restaurant in Krynica.

Day 3: Interactive Polish Cooking Class & Krosno Glass Heritage Centre
Location: Krynica-Zdroj

Start your morning off right with a delicious breakfast before exploring the Kambornia Manor near Krosno. Enjoy the Carpathian Wine Salon and an interactive Polish cooking class before indulging in a lunch made from your own culinary creations. Afterward, take a trip to Krosno, the glass industry center of Poland. Visit KROSNO S.A., founded in 1923, the largest glass manufacturer in Poland and exporter to over 60 countries. Tour the Krosno Glass City and Glass Heritage Center, including an exciting live show of glass-blowing. Wine-lovers can purchase a set of six high-quality wine glasses from the VINOTECA KROSNO line to take back home as a memorable souvenir. Spend the evening exploring the hotel or trying out one of the recommended local restaurants.

Day 4: Tour Jaslo, St. Michael Archangel's Church and visit Dwie Granice and Jasiel Wineries
Location: Krynica-Zdroj

This morning, we'll start with a delicious breakfast before the final round of face or body treatments that you may have booked. Later on, we'll have the chance to visit Jaslo, a peaceful and quaint town that is the capital of Polish wine production and hosts an annual International Wine Days festival. On the way, we'll stop at the 15th century St. Michael Archangel's Church Binarowa village church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Across the Podcarpackie region, there are over 100 wineries with a variety of varietals and styles, so today we'll have the chance to explore the 'Dwie Granice' and 'Jasiel' family-run vineyards near Jaslo. To end the day, we'll enjoy a special dinner with wine at the 'Jasiel' vineyard hosted by Mr and Mrs Szpak.

Day 5: Stary Kleparz, Guided Tour of Krakow
Location: Krynica-Zdroj to Krakow Poland

This morning we are setting off on the next part of our luxurious SPA and wine vacation in southern Poland! We'll be transferred back to the beautiful city of Krakow to spend the next two days exploring. To get a real feel for the culture, we'll visit the Stary Kleparz, a local fresh food market with a centuries-old tradition. Here, we can sample some delicious traditional Polish food products such as breads, cheeses, meats, fruits and vegetables. Afterwards, we'll join a guided tour of the city, taking in the stunning views of the Market Square, Wawel Castle and Cathedral. Later, we'll check in to our hotel and head out to a wine social to try exclusive wines and appetizers at the Krako Slow Wines bar and shop - the perfect way to end the day!



Day 6: Wieliczka Salt Mines, Srebrna Góra Vineyard
Location: Krakow Poland
Accommodations: Hotel Maltanski
In the morning, we'll explore the incredible Wieliczka Salt Mine - an underground city full of galleries, lakes, chapels and murals carved from salt and designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. After our tour, we'll make a stop at the local winery "Srebrna Gora" for a wine tasting, from which we can feast our eyes on the stunning views of the Vistula River and surrounding area. Then the afternoon is yours to explore the sights and shops of Krakow - we recommend visiting the Cepelia store for a great selection of quality Polish folk handicrafts. To cap it all off, we'll enjoy a Farewell Dinner at Wesele restaurant, serving up old Polish and Krakow delicacies and specialties in the heart of Krakow’s Market Square.

Day 7: Departure or Extend Your Stay
